Best Bets:

1.5 Pts on Everton to score over 2.5 Goals v Aston Villa (11/5 Will Hill)

1 Pt on Romelu Lukaku to score 2 or more v Aston Villa (5/1 Will Hill)

1.5 Pts on Arsenal to win to Nil v West Brom (6/4 Sky Bet)

1 Pt on Southampton to win to Nil v Stoke (6/4 Sky Bet)

This. week we look forward to a strong line up of Premier League matches. No doubt successful international breaks for countries like Ireland will impact performances, but will it boost players or see emotionally drained players suffer instead?

Many matches offer potential value in markets, such as 15/2 for No goalscorer as 2 strong defences face off at Vicarage Road. Again, as we rightly highlighted a few weeks back, a both teams to score victory for Leicester at a still struggling Newcastle looks good at best odds 10/3.

This week we have varied our usual tipping pattern & will be selecting what we consider the best 3 on offer from the matches.

1.5 Pts on Arsenal to win to Nil @ West Brom (6/4 Sky Bet)

If there is one thing Arsenal have improved on this season, it seems to be their ability to close out games against mid-low table teams without making the mistakes they have in previous years. This defensive improvement will make it difficult for West Brom to score goals and we see Arsenal winning this one to nil.

1.5 Pts on Everton to score over 2.5 Goals v Aston Villa (11/5 Will Hill)

1 Pt on Romelu Lukaku to score 2 or more v Aston Villa (5/1 Will Hill)

Everton have been making steady improvements as the season has gone on and after facing the majority of last season’s top half finishers, they find themselves hitting a patch of games they will hope to take near-maximum points from. The best way to start would be a convincing win over a Villa side that are adapting to a new manager. With Lukaku having scored a goal in each of his last 3 against Villa his current form leaves 5/1 looking very generous for 2 or more this time round. If that is the case then Everton could well find their fluid football leading them to 3 points courtesy of 3 or more goals.

1 Pt on Southampton to win to Nil v Stoke (6/4 Sky Bet)

Ireland’s hero Jon Walters may not be enough to help Stoke score away at the Saints. While undoubtedly more attack focused under Mark Hughes with new signings such as Shaqiri having helped in some impressive results this term, Stoke are still far from a certainty to score in every match. Southampton however seem to be rediscovering their best form week by week, which includes tightening up their defence.
