We move our attention this week to the European Tour and the start of the Final Series in the Race to Dubai. This week sees the return of the Turkish Airlines Open, which again is staged at the Montgomerie Maxx Royal course for the third time in succession. This competition has given us a birdie fest in the last two years with past champions Dubuisson and Koepka winning with scores of -23 and -17 respectively.

It is a very strong field this week, with Rory McIlroy headlining, but given his recent form we are happy to stay away from the market leader. Looking at the frontrunners in the betting market we believe there is one standout option, and this will be our solo tip for this week.

This 21 year old from England appears to be the real deal. He followed up a win at the British Masters at the start of the month with a third place in Hong Kong on Sunday. His ball striking statistics are off the charts at the minute which will serve him well round a course which will likely serve up a birdie fest. Fitzpatrick’s agent Chubby Chandler has been talking up his chances for this tournament in particular, saying the course is ideal for the young golfers skill set. Given he has placed four times in his last six starts we are happy to make him our headline selection this week and think the price on offer is very good value.
