Goals Galore for Norwich & Leicester

Best Bets:

2.5 Pts on Norwich vs Leicester over 2.5 Goals (5/6 Sky Bet)

1.5 Pts on Norwich vs Leicester over 3.5 Goals (21/10 Will Hill)

Welcome to Boston Gambler’s preview of the weekend Premier League fixtures, and what a weekend we have ahead of us! We start with West Ham who will be looking to add to their impressive away record, while Sunderland try to use home advantage to finally show signs of life this season. Bournemouth & Watford will get a chance to compare last term’s matchups against each other to try and gauge their survival chances & how their teams have improved since then.

Manchester City against Newcastle will hold great significance, with City looking to get back to the form that had them labelled title favourites. On the other hand the Magpies will look to build on a promising result against Chelsea last weekend.

Super Sunday

Everton look to continue their solid start to the season this weekend. They will be looking to build on their impressive comeback away at West Brom on Monday night, as they come up against a Liverpool side that have looked far from comfortable this season. However with no Everton win since 2010 in this fixture, and the last 3 Goodison derbies ending in draws, it is difficult to be confident picking either team to take the 3 points.

Once the Merseyside derby final whistle has gone, an equally competitive match will take over the television screens. Arsenal will try to bounce back from European disappointment and prove their title credentials against a Manchester United team that will sit top of the table as the weekend’s action begins. Much like the earlier derby, this match could go either way and there are surely more secure looking markets to back at value.

Headline Tip

2.5 Pts on Norwich vs Leicester over 2.5 Goals (5/6 Sky Bet)

1.5 Pts on Norwich vs Leicester over 3.5 Goals (21/10 Will Hill)

To us, a number of matches appear to be on a knife-edge this week, making an outright winner difficult to predict in pretty much every match. For this reason we have opted for the Over/Under Goals market in the game between Norwich City & Leicester City. Simply put, both teams have been scoring for fun whilst leaking goals like crazy. With a combined 13 goals scored & conceded between the teams in their past 3 league matches it’s safe to say we expect goals.

Leicester suffered heavily against Arsenal with a 5-2 defeat in their last match, but we don’t expect that to change how they approach the game at Norwich. The home side are coming off the back of a positive 2-2 draw away to in-form West Ham, in a fixture that also had plenty of goals. For the season Leicester are averaging just over 2 goals per game scored (15) and exactly 2 per game conceded (14) in their opening 7 matches, while Norwich are just under 2 in each of those columns (11 & 12 respectively). We expect goals galore and we like over 2.5 goals and over 3.5 goals in this match.
