Ravens Comeback Trail

Best Bet:

5 Pts on Baltimore Ravens to beat Pittsburgh Steelers (3/4 Bet Victor)

In what was another exciting weekend of NFL action, Boston Gambler came out winning with a Falcons selection and picking 7 out of 9 results correctly to be staked as 7 folds. We look to follow that up with another strong showing in week 4 of the NFL season and one game in particular grabs our attention.

5 Pts on Baltimore Ravens to beat Pittsburgh Steelers (3/4 Bet Victor)

This one might look a little strange on the face of it as the Ravens are 0-3, their worst start in franchise history. The Steelers come in to this week 2-1 after a solid start. Importantly however, the main man at Pittsburgh, Ben Roethilsberger was injured in week three and will not play in this matchup. If ‘Big Ben’ were lining up against the Ravens we wouldn’t be looking at this game as one of our selections, but with him out the Steelers will likely struggle. We also don’t think the Ravens are as bad as their start suggests. Their losses have come against strong opposition and they have led in the second half in all three of their games.

Michael Vick will be the man to step in for Roethilsberger, and only has three days turnaround until game day. It will be interesting to see if Vick can utilise the Steeler’s great offence half as well as ‘Big Ben’ does. It is important to note that Roethilsberger has missed six games against the Ravens previously and the Steelers have only won one of these. All of the above points towards a Ravens victory.
